Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may also post additional rules or guidelines for specific areas of the Site, and where they apply they form part of these Terms.

About Us

Journey Speaking LLC is the publishing and speaking entity for author and speaker Matthew Griffin. Through the Site we share books, documentary content, speaking availability, and merchandise related to Matt’s work on trauma, resilience, addiction recovery, and leadership.

Eligibility & Use of the Site

The Site is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you submit is accurate and complete.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing viruses or malicious code
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Site by automated means
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization
• Use the Site to harass, defame, or harm any person.

Purchases & Payments

All purchases made through the Site are subject to product availability and our acceptance of your order. Prices are listed in United States dollars and may change at any time without notice. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the total amount of your order, including any applicable taxes and shipping.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or insufficient stock. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled in accordance with the policy posted on the product or store page at the time of purchase.

Speaking Engagements & Booking Inquiries

Submitting a booking inquiry through the Site does not constitute a binding agreement to provide speaking, consulting, or appearance services. All speaking engagements are subject to a separately signed engagement agreement between you and Journey Speaking LLC setting out fees, scope, travel, cancellation terms, and other particulars.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, photographs, audio, video, book excerpts, the documentary “The Journey to Ibogaine,” and the book “The Journey to Midnight” — is owned by Journey Speaking LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly perform, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use of the Site itself. “Journey Speaking,” “The Journey to Midnight,” and related logos and marks are trademarks of Journey Speaking LLC.

User Submissions

If you submit feedback, suggestions, testimonials, photographs, or other content to us through the Site, email, or any form, you grant Journey Speaking LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display that content in connection with our books, events, marketing, and related activities.

You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your submission does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any law.

No Medical or Psychological Advice

The content on the Site — including the book, documentary, blog posts, social media, and any speaking materials — reflects Matthew Griffin’s personal experience with trauma, post-traumatic stress, addiction, and recovery, including discussion of ibogaine and other treatments.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Journey Speaking LLC, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, any products purchased, or any speaking engagement, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Journey Speaking LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in United States, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
